English Valleys falls to Iowa Valley 47-37

It was a mixed week for the English Valleys Bears. They lost to Iowa Valley, 47-37 Tuesday, Jan. 16, and their game against Belle Plaine set for Friday, Jan. 19, was postponed.

On Saturday, the Bears picked up a win, defeating Cedar Valley Christian, 76-20, to improve to 9-5. Kennedy Axmear led the way against the Huskies with 27 points and 12 rebounds.
