English Valleys girls at top of SICL East

The English Valleys Bears started the week with a 43-40 win over Keota Tuesday, Jan. 23, but the girls lost to Sigourney 48-39 Friday in North English.

On Saturday, Jan. 27, the Bears lost at No. 13 Montezuma, 57-21.

Despite the losses, the Bears are on top of the SICL East standings at 10-7 overall and 7-5 in conference play. Stats were not provided for the losses.

The English Valleys boys lost 80-28 to No. 5 Keota Jan. 22 and to Sigourney 61-25 Friday at home.
