English Valleys improves to 7-2

English Valleys girls’ basketball improved to 7-2 with wins over Colfax-Mingo, 79-12, and Highland, 54-50 last week.

On Tuesday, the Bears rolled with three in double figures, led by Kennedy Axmear with 19 points, plus Delaney Hall with 16 and Imigyn Stratton with 14. EV led at halftime 50-4.

Against Highland (7-3) the Bears got 22 points from Hall. The Bears trailed 16-5 after one quarter but led 33-25 by half.
