RiverBend Bronze will perform handbell music at the Marengo Public Library, 235 E. Hilton St., at 12:30 p.m.
The Heart of Iowa Democrats from Benton, Iowa, Marshall, Poweshiek and Tama Counties will host Rita Hart, chairwoman of the Iowa Democratic Party at 7 p.m. for a Zoom meeting. Belle Plaine Library will host story hour at 9:30 a.m. The library is located at 125 W. Main St. in Belle Plaine.
TKM Theatrical Productions will present “It’s a Wonderful LIfe: A Live Radio Play,” by Joe Landry, at 7:30 p.m. at The Amana Performing Arts Center, 39 38th Ave. in Amana. Tickets are $25.
Saturday, Dec. 9
St Bridget’s Church in Victor is hosting an Old Fashioned Christmas Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu includes a beef dipper, cheesy potatoes, green beans, a drink and dessert. Carry out is available. Tickets are $13 for the plate lunch.
The Iowa County Heartland Quilters of Williamsburg will present Quilts of Valor to four Iowa County veterans at 1:30 p.m. at American Legion Posts 76 in Marengo. The event is open to the public, friends and families. Army veterans Ronald Vogt, of Homestead, and Garth Garfft, of Marengo; Air Force veteran Morris Denson, of Marengo; and Navy veteran Robert Alexander, of Marengo, will receive quilts.
P.E.O. Chapter CN will meet at 9 a.m. at the Williamsburg Public Library, with Kara Carter and Emily Everhart-Campbell as hostesses. The program will be the annual silent auction. The meeting is also a holiday social. Members should bring snacks to share.

Sunday, Dec. 10
The Williamsburg High School choirs and community singers and orchestra will present "Christmas in Williamsburg" at 3 p.m. in the Williamsburg High School Gymnasium. A freewill donation will be collected. Proceeds will benefit the music department and the Iowa County Food Bank. The singers will perform "A Celebration of Carols" which will feature the combined choirs of more than 100 singers accompanied by orchestra, all from the surrounding communities.

Tuesday, Dec. 12
Williamsburg Public Library will host holiday music by the fireplace from noon to 1 p.m. Peggy Wardenburg and Karin Malloy will provide music on the upper level of the library to give residents a break from hectic holiday schedules.
Wednesday, Dec. 13
The Williamsburg Public Library will hold its early-out Lego Club for first and second grades from 1-2:45 p.m. Sign-up is required and sessions are limited to 20 participants. Contact the library to sign up.
Saturday, Dec. 16
The City of Millersburg will celebrate Christmas at the Millersburg City Hall and Fire Station at 10 a.m. Children will find activities, gifts, treats and Santa there.
Wednesday, Dec. 20
Dan Gable, 1972 Olympic Champion wrestler and former University of Iowa wrestling coach, will speak at the Iowa Valley High School auditorium in Marengo at 2:30 p.m. This event is open to the public and is free of charge.
