The English Valleys girls' basketball team of 2003-04 will be honored at the varsity contest between Cedar Valley Christian and the Englsih Valleys Bears. The game will begin at 2 p.m., and the State Runner-Up team of 2003-04 will be introduced between the varsity games. All are invited to attend.

UnityPoint Health-Grinnell Regional Medical Center is partnering with LifeServe Blood Center to host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.in GRMC’s Tomasek Conference Room on the first floor of the medical center in Grinnell. Donors should enter through the main entrance, located on the south side of the building at 210 Fourth Avenue, and follow posted signs to the Tomasek Conference Room. Williamsburg hosts Puzzle Palooza for all ages from 1-3 p.m. Teams will race each other to finish a puzzle. Teams can be made up of 2-6 people of any age. Sign up by Jan. 22 to participate. Bring your own beverages and snacks.

Monday, Jan. 29

Williamsburg Public Library will host a puzzle swap to celebrate National Puzzle Day. To participate, bring a puzzle in good condition to swap. Puzzles must have all necessary pieces. Bring a box or container with a picture of the puzzle. The swap will take place during library hours, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
