The Williamsburg Public Library Friends of the Library hosts its semi-annual book sale from Thursday, April 18 through Saturday, April 20. The book sale will be located in the library during regular library hours. All money from the sale go to the friends of the Williamsburg Library.

Roots and River Market offers 50 craft, boutique and food vendors and live music at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Marengo from 3-8 p.m. Cost is $5; children 14 and younger are admitted free. Parking is free. The first 100 guests will receive SWAG bags.
Murder and mayhem collide in hilarious fashion as new radio station WCKY prepares to air its first show in 1939. “WCKY” premieres at The Brooklyn Opera House at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for students, $20 for adults. Jonny Lyons will present Elvis and Friends at Price Creek Event Center, 4709 220th Trail in Amana at 7 p.m. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $55. Lyons will sing the hits of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly, Conway Twitty and other stars. Call 319-361-6786 for more information.
Red Cedar Chamber Music will perform at the Marengo Public Library at 7 p.m. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. with mocktails and appetizers. The program is presented by The Friends of the Marengo Library.

TKM Theatrical Productions is sponsoring the Iowa premiere of “STAGES: An Original Miniseries about Theatre” at The Amana Performing Arts Center, 39 38th Ave. in Amana. Williamsburg Public Library hosts a puzzle swap on its main level during library hours, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. To participate, bring a puzzle in good condition to swap, have all the necessary pieces and have a box or container with the picture of the puzzle.
Tuesday, April 23
Kirkwood Iowa County Center in Williamsburg hosts Food Truck Day from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Williamsburg campus, 200 West St. The public is welcome to attend. Judy’s Food Trailer will be donating 10% of the profits to Kirkwood.
