The Amana Arts Guild will host Holiday Crafts for Kids from 2-4 p.m. All elementary school ages are invited to join Miss Amy and Miss Molly, along with other festive elves, as they create several holiday crafts to celebrate the season. Snacks will be provided. There is a $10 registration fee per child to cover the cost of materials. Register at amanaartsguild.com.
Friday, Nov. 21
Williamsburg will welcome people to its annual Night on the Square from 5-8 p.m. Santa will visit at Farmers Trust & Savings Bank, and Blue Moon Carriage will be back with horse-drawn wagon rides around the square. New this year will be a live Nativity scene hosted by the First Presbyterian Church.
Saturday, Nov. 22
Safe Haven of Iowa County, an animal shelter at 2783 Highway 6 Trail, South Amana, will host an autumn cookie walk at 9 a.m. until cookies are sold out. A variety of homemade cookies will be sold through a drive-thru in the Safe Haven parking area. A small box of cookies — about 1 pound, is $12. A large box, 2 ½ pounds of cookies, is $24. The Wallace and Beverly Winkie Foundation’s Festival of Trees will host a pre-holiday bake sale from noon to 4 p.m. at the Masonic Hall in Belle Plaine.
