FFA attends leadership training camp
MARENGO — Marengo chapter officers attended the Iowa FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training Camp June 10 at North Scott High School in Eldridge.
FFA President Carli Kanke said the key takeaways from attending the camp were advocating for agriculture, professionalism, teamwork, servant leadership and advice for their chapter officer roles.
Kanke’s main lesson from the camp was understanding the importance of recognizing that everyone is a valuable piece of the puzzle in achieving the goals of the chapter.
The camp’s curriculum focused on leadership development through workshops covering teamwork, agriculture literacy, servant leadership and professionalism.
