First State Bank donates $40,000 to local charities

First State Bank, a community bank serving communities in Iowa since 1912, continued its tradition of giving by donating more than $40,000 to local charities, events and organizations throughout 2024.
The bank’s support encompassed a wide range of initiatives, education, community development, county fairs, arts and culture and student sporting events, the business said in a press release this month.
First State Bank has branches in Agency, Brooklyn, Grinnell, Lynnville, Montezuma, Sully and New Sharon. The bank provides new account services and loan products for commercial, development, construction, real estate, agricultural and consumer lending, as well as offering drive-up banking, digital banking options, debit cards and ATM access.
