Fortnightly conducts silent auction

NORTH ENGLISH — The North English Fortnightly Women’s Club met Nov. 13 at the EV History Center in North English.
Amy Andreassen called the meeting to order, and Bonnie Romine presented two readings during Meditation: “A Prayer of Thanksgiving” and “A Thanksgiving Poem.”
Twenty-three members answered Roll Call by naming something they were thankful for.
Members entered the first round of bidding of the annual silent auction.
Tara Heyne read the minutes from the October meeting, and Amy announced there was a card available to sign for Nancy Evans.
Kathy Huber shared the treasurer’s report. There was no financial activity so the balance remained $1,180.03.
The December meeting will be at Susan Elwood’s home.
Sarah Ernst suggested giving a $50 donation in honor of Linda Lee to wherever Amy thought appropriate. The Club voted to donate $50 in honor of Linda Lee to the EV History Center.
Trish offered News Flash, by sharing that Agape Family Chiropractic is opening an office in North English in the next week or two in the former Kolosik Clinic location.
Members finished out bidding on the silent auction and members adjourned to the back room for refreshments while auction items were organized and tallied.
