Four Raiders named to WaMaC West second team

The Williamsburg baseball team earned four second-team WaMaC West selections, as all-conference lists released Thursday.
Juniors Henry Simmons and Carson Grier were selected as a catcher and utility player.
Simmons led the Raiders in RBIs with 29. Grier was second with 22. Simmons also tied for first in the West division in throw-outs on attempted stealing bases with seven.
Senior’s Nile Sinn and Micah Lang rounded out the Raiders’ selections on the second-team. Sinn led the West in stolen bases (20).
Benton Community’s VJ Schulte was named player of the year. In the WaMaC East, Marion’s Grayson Kirsch was selected as player of the year.
