Gas prices steady

DES MOINES — The price of regular unleaded gasoline held steady, averaging $2.75 across Iowa, according to AAA.
The price of global crude oil rose this week on the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) by $. 60 per barrel over last week to $69.47.
Brent crude oil rose by $. 67 to $73.58.
One year ago, WTI crude sold for $74.46 and Brent crude was $79.49.
As of Wednesday, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $2.75 across Iowa, according to AAA.
Prices held steady from last week’s price and are down 14 cents from a year ago.
The national average Wednesday was $3.07, steady from last week’s price.
Retail diesel prices in Iowa were unchanged this week with a statewide average of $3.30.
One year ago, diesel prices averaged $4.10 in Iowa.
The current Iowa diesel price is 25 cents lower than the national average of $3.55.
Wholesale ethanol held steady and is currently priced at $2.16.
The current Des Moines Terminal/Rack Prices are $1.81 for U87-E10, $2.01 for Unleaded 87 (clear), $2.22 for ULSD#2, $2.44 for ULSD#1, and $1.77 per gallon for E-70 prices.
Natural gas prices rose 27 cents at the Henry Hub reporting site and are currently priced at $3.47/MMbtu.
Propane prices averaged $1.54 per gallon in Iowa.
Home heating oil prices had a statewide average of $2.82 per gallon.
