Gorsh and Chabal appear in local celebrations

Ed Chabal and Jay Gorsh participated in several Iowa County events over the July 4 holiday.

Chabal is running for Senate District 46, and Gorsh is running for House District 91.

Gorsh and his family attended Victor’s Fun day, June 29. The Fun Day featured a car show, food tent, firetruck tour, free children’s games, a dance, and fireworks.

Gorsh is a Williamsburg volunteer firefighter. He was well received at the firetruck display.

Both Chabal and Gorsh walked the entire parade routes in Marengo (July 3) and Williamsburg (July 4). Their entries featured a donkey statue named Gloria.

Gloria was on loan from the Washington County Democrats.

Chabal’s campaign is focusing on education, the economy, and equal rights. Gorsh’s campaign is focusing on education, environment, and affordability.
