GRINNELL– Grinnell State Bank has promoted Jeremy Provin to senior vice president and market president.
In his new role, Provin will oversee market operations, business development and community engagement in Marengo and the surrounding communities.
Provin officially assumed his new position in August following the retirement of former Market President Kim Nelson. Provin will continue Nelson’s and Grinnell State Bank’s strong relationships with customers and local businesses, the bank said in a press release this month.
Provin has more than 25 years of banking experience and has been with Grinnell State Bank since 2013, previously serving as vice president and loan officer.
He will continue in his role as a loan officer in addition to his new leadership responsibilities, Grinnell State Bank said.
An Iowa County native, Provin is active in the Marengo, Williamsburg, North English and surrounding communities, serving on various boards, and dedicating his time to supporting local growth through community involvement and responsible banking.
