Heisdorffer shows grand champion breeding ewe

SIGOURNEY — The 2024 4-H and FFA sheep show was held July 18, 2024 at the Keokuk County Expo Fair.
Purple and blue ribbons were awarded to Addy Tremmel, Luke Sieren, Izzy Heisdorffer, Isaac Striegel, Emily Sieren, Allie Morrison, Colten Voyles, Carley Clarahan, Landon Clarahan, Mylie Morrison, Haylea Oostra, Ty Heisdorffer, Layken Lee, Tierney Greiner, Kearney Greiner, Hailey Pedrick, Alexis Wehr, Greenlee Kitzman and Everett Hinnah.
The grand champion overall breeding ewe was shown by Izzy Heisdorffer, of the Riverside 4-H Club.
Layken Lee, with the Liberty Leaders 4-H Club, showed the reserve grand champion overall breeding ewe.
Izzy Heisdorffer also showed the third place overall breeding ewe. Ty Heisdorffer showed the fourth place ewe.
Izzy Heisdorffer had the champion black face commercial ewe. Layken Lee showed the reserve champion.
The champion all over breed ewe was shown by Emily Sieren, with the Keswick Klover Leaves 4-H Club. Reserve champion was shown by Luke Sieren, also with the Keswick Klover Leaves 4-H Club.
Emily Sieren, with the Keswick Klover Leaves, showed the champion white/speckled face market ewe.
Addy Tremmel, with Sigourney FFA, won senior sheep showmanship. Layken Lee won intermediate sheep showmanship, and Ty Heisdorffer took the junior sheep showmanship award.
