Heyne 4th in Iowa City

IOWA CITY — English Valleys got to compete against some big schools Saturday, April 6, at the Hollingsworth Relays at Iowa City West.

Gage Heyne finished fourth in the 1,600 and 3,200 for the Bears.

Postponed/canceled

With snow and rain early in the week, several meets were canceled or postponed, including the Williamsburg Invitational, which will now be Monday, April 15.

The Waco Invitational was moved to Monday, April 8. Iowa Valley and English Valleys were scheduled to compete.

The Lynnville-Sully meet for Tuesday, April 2, was canceled, and the North Mahaska meet set for Thursday, April 4, was postponed.
