Historical Society ends year with potluck

MONTEZUMA — The last meeting of the year for the Poweshiek County Historical and Genealogical Society will be a festive gathering with a potluck meal.
The meeting is set for Thursday, Dec. 5, at noon in the basement meeting room of the Carnegie building, 200 S. Third St. in Montezuma. Table service and drinks will be provided. Everyone should bring a covered dish to share.
Everyone interested in preserving Poweshiek County history is welcome. Call 641-623-3322 for information. Leave a call back message; the office is staffed Mondays and Thursdays only.
