Historical society to meet April 4
Poweshiek County Historical and Genealogical Society will hold its first meeting for 2024 Thursday, April 4, at 1:30 p.m.
The program will feature Jim Foels presenting information about Camp Courageous, which is located at Monticello. Foels has been a board member at the camp for several years.
Foels will present his program in the lower level of the Carnegie building at 200 S. Third St. in Montezuma. A handicapped entrance can be found on the south side of the building. Everyone interested in this program is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
