HLV falls to 1-4 by week’s end

The HLV boys’ basketball team fell to 1-4 after losses to North Mahaska, 93-51, Tuesday, Dec. 5, and 47-41 to BGM Friday, Dec. 8.

The game Friday had plenty of rebounds, as the two teams combined to shoot 2-of-32 from distance. Peyton Roth finished with 20 points to pace HLV.

Roth also had 16 points against the Warhawks Tuesday.

The HLV girls lost to North Mahaska Tuesday, then bounced back to beat BGM, 59-26, Friday, Dec. 8.

Mckenzie Kempf had 11 points and 18 rebounds against the Bears.
