HLV girls compete at Bear Classic

HLV scored 65 points at BGM’s Bear Classic April 21. Scoring for the Warriors were Ema Roberts with 1st high jump, 3rd 100, tie 2nd in 200, and 1st in 400. Nicole Gensley tied for 2nd in the high jump, Raelene Hawkins was 6th in the shot and placed 5th in the discus.

Serenity McClenathan was 6th in the 100. The 4 x 100 of Savannah Harmon, Caiya Schmidt, Raelene Hawkins, and Hailey Jack finished 4th as did the 4 x 200 of Harmon, Schmidt, Jack and Nicole Gensley. The sprint medley of Harmon, Jack, Schmidt and Raegen Stowell placed 5th.

Eddyville

The HLV girls’ track team ran at Eddyville April 18, placing 5th with 53 points. Ema Roberts had championship finishes in the high jump, 100, 200 and 400.

The sprint medley team of Savannah Harmon, Raegen Stowell, Nicole Gensley and Payten Martinson placed 7th. Raegen Stowell was 6th in the 100-meter hurdles. The 4 x 200 team of Savannah Harmon, Raegen Stowell, Nicole Gensley and Payten Martinson finished in 7th.

The distance medley team of Nicole Gensley, Raegen Stowell, Caiya Schmidt and Mackenzie Allee ran to a 2nd place finish.
