Hunt for hidden gems during Colonies In Bloom, June 3

Visitors are invited to explore the villages of Homestead, High Amana, South Amana, Middle Amana and West Amana from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 3, during Colonies In Bloom.

Shops and private gardens off the beaten path will feature a garden or gardening-related items. There will also be treasure hunt for "Hidden Gems,” specific painted rocks hidden at each location. Be one of the lucky few to find a hidden rock and win a special prize.

Gem rocks are redeemable at the Amana Colonies Visitor Center at 622 46th Ave, Amana. Maps will be available at the Amana Colonies Visitor Center or at participating businesses in the surrounding villages. Check the amanacolonies.com event page for more information.
