In Iowa County court

MARENGO — Charges were filed Sept. 3 in Iowa County against Dowha Mahdi Al Hisnawi, 25, of Cedar Rapids for driving without a valid license. Al Hisnawi was arrested by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department about 7:33 a.m. Sept. 3 on Iowa Highway 220 East, according to court documents.

Ian Douglas MacPherson, 34, of Williamsburg, was charged Sept. 2 with theft in the fifth degree. MacPherson is accused by the Williamsburg Police Department of committing theft at a Casey’s at 130 Evans in Williamsburg at 2 a.m. Aug. 27.

Trail is set for Jan. 7, 2025 for Philip Brodeur, 32, of Warren. Brodeur pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, according to court documents. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department arrested Brodeurs Sept. 2 about 10:16 p.m. at Third and Lincoln Streets in Victor.
