In Iowa County District Court

Harley James Plowman, 37, of Cedar Rapids, is charged in Iowa County District Court with driving while his license is barred.

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department arrested Plowman Sept. 6 at 7:39 p.m. on U.S. Highway 6 East near I Avenue. According to court documents, Plowman’s license is barred because he is a habitual offender.

Ashley Crystal Wachs, 36, of Coralville, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Sept. 4 on Interstate 80 for possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony. According to court documents, the Iowa State Patrol stopped Wachs for speeding, and a K-9 unit alerted officers of the presence of drugs.

Officers found 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine in a plastic baggie on the passenger side of the front seat floor, court documents say. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 25.

Andrew Thomas Nederhoff, 42, of Shellsburg, is charged with driving without a valid license. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department arrested Nederhoff at 7:04 p.m. Sept. 2 at Grant and Main Streets.

Grant Robert Boies, 29, of Williamsburg, is charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, first offense. Boies was arrested at 1:18 a.m. Sept. 8 on Iowa Highway 149 North by the Williamsburg Police Department.

Mackeile Oneil Satchell, 32, of Taunton, Massachusetts, is charged with OWI and possession of marijuana, first offense. Satchell was arrested at 7:50 a.m. Sept. 10 on the I-80 ramp near H Avenue by the Iowa State Patrol.

At the same time and place, the Iowa State Patrol arrested Blair Akiva Burgess, 34, of Dorchester, Massachusetts for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A charge of theft in the fifth degree was filed Sept. 5 against Andrea Media Nebergall, 49, of Marengo, for allegedly stealing cat food and cheese from Dollar General at 2161 Highway 6 Trail. The incident occurred at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 30 and was investigated by the Marengo Police Department.

Charges of disorderly conduct and harassment in the 3rd degree were filed Sept. 8 against Sherry Elizabeth Branson, 39, of Williamsburg. Williamsburg police say that Branson made contact with Dawn Samuel at 905 North St. about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6 with intent to threaten, intimidate or alarm her.

Joshua Michael Doty, 43, of Marengo, was charged Sept. 6 with domestic abuse or assault, first offense and with criminal mischief. Marengo police allege that Doty committed domestic abuse against Patricia Lorraine Eckenrode and damaged flowers, decorations and siding at 235 W. Randolph St. about 8:02 a.m. Sept. 6.

Dakota David Blaylock, 31, of North English, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid license. Blaylock was arrested by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department about 11:42 p.m. Sept. 7 on Boland Avenue in North English.

Jackson Daniel Slechta, 18, of Iowa City, has been charged with possession of marijuana, first offense. Slechta was arrested by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department about 8:29 p.m. Sept. 8 at 214 W. State St. in Williamsburg.
