MARENGO — Rick Michael Willenbring, 40, of Oxford, was charged Nov. 14 in Iowa District Court with three counts of child endangerment and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Willenbring was arrested about 7:28 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 2700 Block of 240th Street in Williamsburg by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department.
On Nov. 18, Kelly Joe Burrell, 59, of Victor, was charged with violating sex offender restrictions and failing to register as a sex offender. The former violation took place at 235 E. Hilton in Marengo, the public library, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m.
Cindy Rae Slaubaugh, 63, of Wellman, was charged Nov. 14 with failure to stop in an assured clear distance for an incident that occurred Nov. 7 at 3:38 p.m. on U.S. Highway 6 East. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department investigated.
Allison May Peska, 36, of Marengo, was charged Nov. 16 with driving while her license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked. Peska was stopped by Marengo police Nov. 16 at 2:13 p.m. on Miller St.
Joann Marie Linvell, 27, of Marengo, was charged Nov. 18 with failure to stop in assured cleared distance. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department investigated the incident at 1500 42nd Ave. at 6:35 a.m. Nov. 18.
Marcus Antonio Terrell Steele, 45, of Bolilngbrook, Illinois, was charged Nov. 19 with driving without a valid license. The Iowa State Patrol stopped Steele Nov. 7 at 2:39 a.m. at mile marker 209 on Interstate 80 West.
Kelly Joe Burrell, 59, of Victor, was charged Nov. 13 with operating a vehicle while under the influence, first offense. Burrell was stopped on E Avenue near Ladora at 5:49 p.m. Nov. 12 by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department.
David Kenneth Winwood, 72, of Williamsburg, was charged Nov. 14 with operating a vehicle while under the influence, third or subsequent offense, a Class D felony.
Winwood was also charged with driving without a valid license.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department stopped Winwood at Y Avenue and 240th Street Nov. 8 at 12:56 p.m.
On Nov. 15, Chance James Griffith, 33, of Brooklyn was charged in Iowa County District Court with operating a vehicle while under the influence, second offense. Griffith was previously convicted of OWI in 2015.
Griffith is accused by Williamsburg police of driving while intoxicated on Evans St in Williamsburg at 11:35 a.m. Nov. 15 and eluding police on Highland Street.
Griffith is also charged with interference with official acts during the same incident.
Calving Kenneth Maas, 20, of Belle Plaine, was charged Nov. 18 with possession of marijuana, first offense. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department stopped Maas at 2:31 a.m. Nov. 17 at 247th St. and M Avenue.
