MARENGO — Sunset Amber Dawn Sanchez, 36, of Waterloo, was charged Aug. 17 in Iowa County District Court with driving while barred.
Marengo police stopped Sanchez at 2187 Highway 6 Trail about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 17 for having a nonworking headlamp, according to the report filed with the court. A check of her license showed that Sanchez is barred from driving until April 23, 2026, the report said.
Angela Kay Harriman, 44, of Ladora, was charged Aug. 14 with driving while her license is denied, suspended, canceled or revoked. Harriman was stopped at U.S. Highway 6 and Eastern Avenue by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department about 7:20 p.m. Aug. 12.
Harriman was also charged with failure to provide proof of financial liability.
Chase Edward Harriman, 18, of Ladora, was charged Aug. 15 with driving while his license is denied, suspended, canceled or revoked. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department stopped Harriman at Third and Main Streets about 8:24 p.m. Aug. 14.
Chase Harriman was also charged with failure to provide proof of financial liability.
Cael Allen Moore, 18, of Keswick, was charged Aug. 19 with failure to stop in an assured clear distance for an incident at M Avenue and 270th St. about 2:07 p.m. Aug. 18. The incident was investigated by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department.
Moore was also charged with use of an electronic communication devise.
Donna Raye Robinson, 75, of Marengo, was charged Aug. 19 with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department stopped Robinson at F15 Blvd. and 220th Trail in West Amana about 3:53 p.m. Aug. 17 for driving more than 10 miles per hour above the speed limit and for swerving over the center line, according to a complaint filed with the court.
The deputy noticed the smell of alcohol and that Robinson had slurred speech and swayed while standing, the court document says. Robinson’s blood alcohol content at 5:05 p.m. was 0.142, according to the report.
Noah Michael Joseph Dreshier, 19, of West Des Moines, was charged Aug. 17 with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, first offense and with using tobacco or vapor product while under the age of 21, first offense.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Departments stopped Dreshier for speeding at mile marker 211 on Interstate 80 about 9 a.m. Aug. 17, according to a report filed with the court.
The deputy noticed the smell of marijuana, and Dreshier admitted to having 2 grams of THC wax, the report says. The deputy also recovered two joints.
Timothy Wayne Harriman, 45, of Victor, was charged Aug. 19 with obstruction of emergency communications. According the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department, Harriman tried to take a cellphone away from Gregory George Wolfer while he was trying to call 911 from 215 N. Howard St. in North English about 2:42 p.m. Aug. 18.
Harriman said he wanted to be the one to call, according to the court document, and the two fell on the couch while struggling for the phone, causing Wolfer a bruised lip.
Wolfer is Harriman’s stepfather, and the two were living together at the time of the assault, says the court document. Harriman pleaded not guilty and was released without bond. A non-jury trial is set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 3, 2026.
Harriman was also charged with domestic abuse. A no-contact order was issued Aug. 19.
Wolfer, 72, of Victor, was charged Aug. 19 with domestic abuse assault, first offense, after an incident at the same place and time. Court documents filed by the sheriff’s office say that Wolfer argued with Amanda Lynn Barnell Aug. 18 at 215 Howard St. in North English and grabbed Barnell around the back of the neck.
Carolyn Jean Wolfer, 69, of Williamsburg, was also charged in the incident. She is accused of hitting Barnell with her hands and with a metal slotted spoon causing injuries to Barnell’s arms.
The Wolfers and Barnell are members of the same household and were living at the same address at the time of the incident, according to court documents.
A no-contact order was issued Aug. 19.
