MARENGO — Sarah Rozella Lamar, 25, of Cedar Rapids, was charged in Iowa District Court Oct. 5 with driving while her license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked.
The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department stopped Lamar about 2:51 p.m. Oct. 4 on U.S. Highway 151.
Kyle Joseph Wardenburg, 32, of Williamsburg was charged Oct. 6 with driving while his license was denied suspended canceled or revoked. He was stopped by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department about 9:21 p.m. Oct. 3 on Iowa Highway 220 near F Drive.
Noah Scott Steines, 25, of Muscatine, was charged Oct. 5 with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, first offense.
The Iowa County Shieriff’s Department stopped Steines for speeding about 9:33 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 1600 block of U.S. Highway 151. A report filed with the court says Steine was driving 66 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.
A deputy smelled alcohol during the traffic stop and noticed that Steines’ eyes were bloodshot, according to the criminal complaint filed with the court.
Steins admitted to drinking beer at Oktoberfest, the deputy’s report says. The deputy found three glass containers in the vehicle. Steines’ blood alcohol content tested 0.152%, the report says.
Dayshawn Daquan Starke, 31, of Warfield, Virginia, was charged Oct. 3 with possession of marijuana, first offense.
Starke was stopped by Iowa State Patrol at the rest area off Interstate 80 near Victor about 11:44 a.m. Oct. 3, according to a report filed with the court. Starke was pulled over for failing to wear a seat belt while operating a commercial vehicle, the report says.
The officer found marijuana in the vehicle, according to the court document.
