MARENGO -- Churie Marie Congdon, 38, of Cedar Rapids, was charged Jan. 27 in Iowa County District Court with driving while barred.
According to the criminal complaint filed by Williamsburg police, Congdon was stopped on Evans Street in Williamsburg about 9:30 p.m. for speeding. Congdon said she was driving because her male passenger wasn’t feeling well, the complaint says.
Alex Jarrett Peska, 28, of Marengo, was charged Jan. 25 with assault.
According to a report filed by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department, Peska pushed a minor about 8 p.m. Jan. 22 at 2192 332nd St., North English.
