Iowa County Fair begins June 10

MARENGO — The Iowa County Fair will run from July 10 through July 14.

The Open Class Exhibit Committee will accept exhibits Monday, July 8, from 6 — 8 p.m. and Tuesday, July 9 from 9 — 11 a.m. in Zentmire Hall on the fairgrounds.

Entry fee is $1 per item. Fees are awarded back to exhibitors for Award of Excellence and Best of Show placings in the twelve categories: arts and crafts, photography, professional photography, hobbies, heritage, textiles, quilts, vegetables and fruits, flowers, flower show, products of the kitchen and children's class for ages 12 years and younger.

There will also be some donated prizes up for grabs.

Any person from Iowa County or surrounding counties may enter.
