Iowa County phone numbers to change Feb. 1

Iowa County recently installed new phones and underwent phone number changes.

In addition to the main line, each office had a separate phone line. The individual office lines are being phased out and will be eliminated Feb. 1.

There will be only one main phone number to reach the following offices: Assessor, Auditor, Clerk of Courts, Board of Supervisors, Engineer, Recorder, Treasurer, Veterans Affairs, Department of Human Services, Environmental Health and Building Maintenance.

The main phone number for these departments is 319-642-3923. You will reach a directory when calling this number, which will inform you which number to press to speak with each department.
