AMANA — “It’s a Girl Thing: Life from a Feminine Perspective,” by Deb Kennedy, is coming to The Amana Performing Arts Center in November.
Dedicated to women of strength and courage who are real and honest, women who can laugh at themselves, but are also sometimes broken, “Girl Thing” will take the stage Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 3 at 3 p.m.
The play follows six women on a journey through their hilarious and heartwarming stories, says TKM Theatrical Productions.
The group of friends meet at their local bar to catch up and enjoy their time together. They discuss love and loss to friendship and children with a sprinkle of music to tie it all together.
The show, based on real stories from real women, stars Lucy and Tina Conroy, Marcia Hughes, Deb Kennedy, Amy Schaeffer and Kathleen Weiss and features Classic Rock & Blues Band Fork In The Road.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at tkmtheatricalproductions.com.
Amana Performing Arts Center is located at 39 38th Ave. in Amana.
The show is sponsored by Ox Yoke Inn and Tidbits.
