KCRG personality stars in ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’

AMANA -- Justin Roberts from KCRG-TV9 will star in TKM Theatrical Productions’ presentation of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” at the Amana Performing Arts Center in December.

This beloved American holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.

With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

The Joe Landry play is produced through Dramatists Play Service, Inc. and is sponsored by Amana Family Practice. Actors will take the stage Dec. 1-2 and Dec. 8-9 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 3 and 10 at 3 p.m.

The Amana Performing Arts Center is located at 39 38th Ave. in Amana.
