Kilgard earns Sinclair Tractor scholarship

MARENGO — Brooklyn Kilgard, a member of the Marengo FFA Chapter, is one of the recipients of Sinclair Tractor’s 2024 FFA scholarships, the company announced in a press release last week.

Kilgard, the daughter of Luke and Marcia Kilgard, is a recent graduate of Iowa Valley High School. She plans to attend Iowa State University to major in Ag Communications.

Other 2024 scholarship recipients are Lauren Phillips, Centerville FFA; Cody Messer, Mediapolis FFA; Kami Joos, Davis County FFA; and Cole Wessel, North Scott FFA.

Since 2013, Sinclair Tractor has awarded more than $100,000 to area FFA students who have excelled in their achievements and who plan to further their education, the company said.

Sinclair Tractor has 13 John Deere locations serving Southeast Iowa, Northeast Missouri and Western Illinois along with five NAPA stores, Sinclair Supply and a Yield Force agronomic solutions division.
