Kristina Beck joins weight loss surgery clinic

GRINNELL — UnityPoint Health -Grinnell welcomes Kristina Beck back to the General Surgery and Weight Loss Surgery Clinic, where she will provide care to patients pursuing medical and surgical weight loss options.

Beck specializes in bariatric care and weight loss management, partnering closely with patients to support them throughout their weight loss journey. She brings a strong clinical background and a deep understanding of the Grinnell community to her role.

Beck previously served as a registered nurse at UnityPoint Health — Grinnell, working both on the hospital floor and within the General Surgery and Weight Loss Clinic.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska, and most recently practiced as a family nurse practitioner at UnityPoint Health —Marshalltown Hospital.

“Grinnell is home,” Beck said. “I was born and raised locally, and the community has always been an important part of my life. My husband and I are proud to raise our family here, and our ties to this area run deep.”

Beck lives in Grinnell with her husband and their children. She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors. She is passionate about delivering personalized, transformative care and is committed to helping patients feel supported, informed and empowered in achieving their health goals.
