Kupka lone freshman to make SICL first team
Six area players make first team

Five area volleyball players made first team all conference in the South Iowa Cedar League, and WIlliamsburg’s Clarissa Suhr made first team in the WaMaC West Division this week.
In the SICL, freshman Erilea Kupka for HLV-TC earned first-team setter, leading the conference with 523 assists. Kupka was the only freshman in the SICL to be selected first team.
Iowa Valley’s Lydia Kriegel (317), HLV-TC’s Ema Roberts (297) and Belle Plaine’s Kayleah Laughlin (259) were all top four in the SICL in kills.
Montezuma’s Syndee Burgess led in blocks with 98.
Clarissa Suhr led the Raiders in kills this season with 180 and was a key part in giving the Raiders their best season in four years in the WaMaC.
