Library hosts blood drive
The Amana Library will host an ImpactLife Blood Drive Dec. 19 and 21 from 1:30-6 p.m. in the donor bus.
The drive will take place at the Amana Library/Elementary parking lot, 3023 220th Trail in Middle Amana.
Donors will receive gift cards or donations to area food bands as a thank you for donating blood.
Donors must be at least 17 years old, must weigh more than 110 pounds and must and possess a photo ID to donate. Donors should eat and hydrate before donating.
Walk-ins are accepted. Appointments are preferred. To sign up, call the Amana Library at 319-622-3192 or email amanalibrary@ccaschools.org.
