MARENGO — An Iowa County man was charged with harassment May 22 after he allegedly sent a threatening message to the wife of the assistant county attorney.
According to a report filed in Iowa County District Court, Craig Daniel Hall, 43, of North English, sent a harassing message on Facebook Messenger to the wife of Tim Dille, the Iowa County assistant county attorney who is prosecuting Hall in a criminal case.
The message mentioned someone causing harm to Jennifer Dille, the report alleges.
Hall pleaded not guilty. A non-jury trial was set for July 5 at 9:30 a.m., but Hall filed a written request for a jury trial.
Hall was released without bond. The court issued a no-contact order May 23.
Hall was charged May 21 with violation of his parole stemming from a sex offender registration violation in April of 2022.
