Medicare seminar offers explanation of benefits

MARENGO — A free Medicare seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the Marengo Public Library, 235 E. Hilton St. in Marengo.
Offered by the State of Iowa’s Senior health Insurance Information Program and Compass Memorial Healthcare, the seminar will cover Medicare parts A and B benefits, prescription drug benefits (part D), Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare supplement insurance and Medicare fraud, errors and abuse.
