Historical society to meet Sept. 5
MONTEZUMA — The September meeting of the Poweshiek County Historical and Genealogical Society will be held Thursday, Sept. 5 at 1:30 p.m., in the Carnegie building located at 200 South Third Street in Montezuma.
The program topic will be the Montezuma Memorial Hall. The public is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
One of the services offered by Poweshiek County Historical and Genealogical Society is researching the family history of early Poweshiek County residents. Staff is on hand Mondays and Thursdays to help with research.
