NE residents asked to conserve water

North English residents are being asked to conserve water in coming weeks as the town’s water tower will be drained for maintenance.
Mayor Dan Strohman noted the tower will be drained beginning Wednesday, Aug. 9, and will remain offline until Sept. 1 as the interior is painted. Water will remain available to homes and businesses during that time but residents may notice slightly lower water pressure and are encouraged to restrict nonessential water usage.
