GRINNELL — Becca Driscoll, physician assistant, has jointed the Manatt Walk-In Clinic, UnityPoint Health-Grinnell announced recently.
Driscoll will see walk-in patients on the first floor of the Ahrens Medical Arts Building at 202 Fourth Avenue in Grinnell, adjacent to Grinnell Regional Medical Center. She joins Angelique Deright and Lisa Smith in practice at the walk-in clinic.
Driscoll received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Iowa State University and a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies at Des Moines University, said UnityPoint in a press release.
Driscoll is transferring to UnityPoint Health-Grinnell from UnityPoint Clinic Express Care in Marshalltown where she spent the past two years.
Driscoll and her colleagues at Grinnell’s Manatt Walk-In Clinic see patients with acute care and minor medical issues such as respiratory, stomach or urinary issues, head, ear, eye and skin conditions or minor injuries.
The Walk-In Clinic provides quick, convenient care so patients can resolve minor medical issues without going to the emergency department or when primary care offices are closed. It is not meant to replace primary care providers, UnityPoint said.
Walk-In hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. — 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. — 2 p.m.
