Students make SNHU president's list
MANCHESTER, N.H. — Several area students were named to the Southern New Hampshire University winter 2024 president's list.
Ashley Kirk of Ainsworth, Lainey Parr of Belle Plaine, Logan Schlesselman and Mari Ethridge of Williamsburg and Kacee Jones of Brooklyn were named to the list.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the president's list
Mercy College honors students
DES MOINES — David Beck of Grinnell and Lily Hicks of Marengo have received academic honors for the spring 2024 semester at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines.
Beck was named to the dean’s list and Hicks to the president’s list.
To qualify for the dean's list, students must attain a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.749 for a minimum of six semester credit hours or four quarter credit hours in their most recent academic term.
To qualify for the President's List, students must attain a minimum grade-point average of 3.75 for a minimum of six semester credit hours or four quarter credit hours in their most recent term.
Buena Vista releases dean's list
STORM LAKE — Buena Vista University named more than 500 students to its spring 2024 dean’s list, including nine from Poweshiek County and Iowa Counties.
Courtney Cornett of Grinnell, Alejandra Seth of Brooklyn, Gwenyth Upah of Chelsea, Emma Johnson of Marengo, Cael Kaestner of Luzerne, Morgan Malli of Amana, Megan Shannahan of Parnell, Kristen Thomas of Wellman and Alison Wardenburg of North English made the list.
The dean's list recognizes full-time students achieving a 3.5-grade-point average or higher for the semester.
Students graduate Morningside
SIOUX CITY — Among the 215 undergraduate students and 209 graduate students earning degrees from Morningside University May 11 were several students from Iowa and Poweshiek Counties.
Emilie Trumpold of Amana, Rita Mertens of Grinnell, Bryan Neuschwander of North English and Michelle Zirkel of Williamsburg earned degrees.
