Strawser graduates from Central College
PELLA — Logan Strawser, from Grinnell, was one of 232 Central College students who were celebrated during Commencement 2024 May 11 in the Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium, in Pella, Iowa.
Strawser earned a bachelor's degree in August 2023 majoring in information systems.
UW-Stevens Point honors undergraduates
STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,300 undergraduate students for attaining high grade-point averages during the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.
Among the honored students was Alaina Allen of North English who earned honors.
Full-time undergraduates who earned grade-point averages of 3.90 to 4.0 are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade-point averages from 3.75 to 3.89, and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade-point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.
Iowa Lakes releases honors lists
ESTHERVILLE — Iowa Lakes Community College recognized outstanding academic achievements with its dean’s and president’s lists. Amy Larson of Brooklyn made the president’s list, and Hunter Kauffman of Williamsburg made the dean’s list.
Students who made the president’s list achieved a 4.0 grade-point average, and students on the dean’s list earned a 3.25 or higher GPA.
