Local students receive academic honors
DES MOINES — The following students have received academic honors from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines.
David Beck, of Grinnell, was named to the president’s list, and Lily Hicks, of Marengo, made the dean’s list.
Beck, graduated from Mercy College of Health Sciences with a certificate in emergency medical services.
Rebekah McCombs, also of Grinnell, earned an Associate of Science degree to become a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Kirkwood releases dean’s list
CEDAR RAPIDS — Area residents made the Kirkwood Community College dean’s list for the summer 2024 semester.
From Amana, Max Whitehead was named to the list.
Belle Plaine’s Nate Arens and Macy Dodd made the list.
Mackinze Blankenship, of Brooklyn, and Brittany Kinsinger, Kylie Reinier and Maria Titus, of Kalona, were named to the dean’s list.
Also honored on the list were Lane Conaway and Payten Martinson of Ladora.
Marengo students on the list were Aaron Estrada Jaquez, Aiden Feldman and John Gorsch.
Katharyn Cox and April Phillips, of Parnell, were on the list as were Dakota Jones, Frank Smith and Austin Tempus, of South Amana.
Bri Foster, of Victor, and Bryttany Lovegreen, Drake Mann and Warren Scarff, of Wellman, were named to the dean’s list.
Williamsburg students on the list were Kiley Koele, Alysia Seaver, Jarin Sherman, Rosie Wardenburg and Levi Weldon.
