Victor resident earns degree

LINCOLN, Neb.-- Corey Dean Van Otegham, of Victor, was among 1,132 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises Dec. 20 and 21 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Van Otegham earned a Master of Business Administration from the Office of Graduate Studies.

December’s graduates are from 41 countries, 40 U.S. states and 150-plus Nebraska communities.

Morningside University releases dean’s list

SIOUX CITY — Morningside University released the names of 475 students who made the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year.

Corder Noun Harder, of Grinnell, made the list. Harder achieved a 4.0 grade-point average, according to a press release from the college.
