Historical Society open weekly
SIGOURNEY — The Keokuk County Historical Society at 402 E. Elm in Sigourney, is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. When school is canceled or delayed, KCHS will be closed.
Arrangements for visiting other days can be arranged by calling 641-622-3005. Leave a message and a volunteer will return the call.
Williamsburg resident joins American Angus
WILLIAMSBURG — Georgia Klingner, of Williamsburg, is a new member of the American Angus Association, the organization said in a press release this month.
Junior members are eligible to register cattle in the American Angus Association, participate in programs conducted by the National Junior Angus Association and take part in Association-sponsored shows and other national and regional events.
American Angus Association is a national organization with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
