Belle Plaine resident graduates Mount Mercy

CEDAR RAPIDS — Katherine Andrews, of Belle Plaine, graduated from Mount Mercy University in February with a Master of Science degree in nursing

Located in Cedar Rapids, Mount Mercy University is a regional Catholic, Mercy University offering baccalaureate and graduate education to more than 1,400 students.

Montezuma woman earns degree

SIOUX CITY — Morningside University awarded general honors to its graduates in December.

Among the graduates was Jillian Scheck, of Montezuma.

Grinnell resident named to dean’s list

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Amani Alqaisi, of Grinnell, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2024 semester at Washington University in St. Louis.

Alqaisi is enrolled in the university’s McKelvey School of Engineering.

To qualify for the dean's list in the McKelvey School of Engineering, a student must earn a semester grade-point average of 3.6 or above and be enrolled in at least 12 graded units.
