Burgess receives Upper Iowa University award
FAYETTE — Edward Burgess, of North English, was one of several students recognized during the Upper Iowa University 2025 Honors and Awards Program.
Burgess was awarded the Andres Education Scholarship.
Belle Plaine student graduates from University of Dubuque
DUBUQUE — The University of Dubuque celebrated the academic accomplishments of undergraduate, graduate and seminary students with two commencement ceremonies in April.
Among the graduates was Bonnie Koeppen, of Belle Plaine, who received a Doctor of Ministry degree.
University of Dubuque releases dean’s list
DUBUQUE — The University of Dubuque released its dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester. Kyla Roberts, of Ladora, was among the students named to the list.
Full-time students in good academic standing (registered for and having earned 12 or more letter grade credits for the term) who earn a term grade-point average of 3.5 or above are named to the list.
Lake named to ULM's dean’s list
MONROE, La. — Dakota Lake, a health studies student from Brooklyn, has been named to the University of Louisiana Monroe's spring dean’s list.
Eligibility for the dean’s list requires full-time enrollment (minimum of 12 semester hours completed) and a minimum 3.5 grade-point average.
Yoder named to dean’s list at Cedarville
CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Sydney Yoder, of Wellman, was named to the spring 2025 dean’s list at Cedarville University.
This recognition requires that a student obtain a 3.50 grade-point average or higher and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Buena Vista University releases spring dean’s list
STORM LAKE — Buena Vista University named more than 545 students to its spring dean’s list. The list recognizes full-time students who earn a grade-point average of at least 3.5.
Among the students on the list were Ashton Braack, Terry Burnell and Brenda Woodsmall, of Grinnell; Olivia Parks, of Victor; Arianna Sprague, of Tama; Ashley Tompkins, of Brooklyn; and Cael Kaestner, of Luzerne.
Also Morgan Malli, of Amana; Megan Shannahan, of Parnell; and Kristen Thomas, of Wellman.
