Upper Iowa University releases dean’s list
FAYETTE — Upper Iowa University released its dean’s list for the 2025 spring semester.
Demitri Fernea, of Tama, and Chase Wickwire, of Belle Plaine, were among the students that earned a minimum 3.50 grade-point average.
Wartburg students named to dean’s list
WAVERLY — Wartburg College has recognized 501 students on its winter-term dean’s list.
Those honored include Keegan Burdick and Gwen Mews, of North English; Parker Ehrenfelt, of Wellman; Ella Hayden and Alison Newton, of Blairstown; Landon Jepson, Jesse Nevarez and Rylie Metz, of Williamsburg.
The list honors students who earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above in at least five course credits during the terms.
South Dakota State releases spring dean's list
BROOKINGS, S.D. — More than 3,800 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance in the spring 2025 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the dean's list.
Students receiving the honor include Braxton McGrath, of Amana, Samuel Pettinger, of Oxford, and Ashley Hollingsworth, of Grinnell.
Local student on Bemidji honor roll
BEMIDJI, Minn. — — Matthew Turley, of Grinnell, was one of many students named on the president’s honor roll at Bemidji State University for the spring 2025 semester.
To be eligible for the BSU President's Honor Roll, students must earn a grade-point average of 4.0 for the semester and be enrolled in at least 12 credits of coursework.
