Pinkerton named to president’s list

DES MOINES — Tj Pinkerton, of Grinnell, has been named to the president's list for the summer 2025 quarter and semester terms at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines.

To qualify for this academic recognition, students must attain a grade-point average at least 3.75 for a minimum of six semester credit hours or four quarter credit hours in their most recent term.

Butler’s Bunch to meet Nov. 12

Butler’s Bunch Sharing for Hope support group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 in Compass Memorial Healthcare education room, (down main hallway to lobby and to the right before provider’s photos) in Marengo.

The group welcomes those being treated for cancer, who have had cancer, have been or are caregivers, are survivors, including school-age students or those touched by cancer. Meetings are informal. Those who wish may share experiences as a patient, caregiver or may simply listen.
