NORTH ENGLISH — Nikki Stallman from Chains Interrupted presented information about that organization and human trafficking in the Midwest during the North English Fortnightly Women’s Club meeting April 11 at the English Valleys History Center.
She also shared recent activity reported as close to home as Iowa and Keokuk Counties.
The organization focuses on awareness and prevention of human trafficking and advocates for youth by partnering with local organizations., such as Safe Families, the Deparatment of Human Services, Four Oaks and Tanager Place, and training staff to work with young victims who have experienced this type of trauma.
